About The Filmmakers
Erik Kreis
a.k.a. Larry the Taxidermist
Mr. Kreis moved to Bozeman in 1993, and has since relocated to Salt Lake City. He cut his acting teeth in Baltimore, Maryland, performing with a guerilla street theatre troup. In addition to his acting role, Erik contributed significantly to the writing of Psycho Sheep of Butte.
Jeffrey T. Spicer
a.k.a. Randal the Sheepherder
Mr. Spicer is a Montana native who now divides time between Almaty, Kazakhstan and Universal City, California. His role of Randal is a shade darker than his previous work. Jeff is currently starring in Colin McWilliams' new WWII adventure film, War Between Angels.
Robin Evans
a.k.a. Diane the Debt Collector
Ms. Evans has performed in other films, and participated in the drama program at MSU. She is an avid outdoorsman and is often found hiking and/or camping in the mountains around Montana. Her husband, Jae, also appears in the film as Sheriff Shears.
Mark Fiorillo
a.k.a. Tommy the Psycho
Mr. Fiorillo originated the role of the family dog in the U of M stage production of Farley Mowat's A Whale For the Killing. He has described his character of Tommy as being "somehere between a puppy and a pit bull."
Cyndi McWilliams
a.k.a. Director of Photography
Mrs. McWilliams is a graduate of Hiram College in Ohio, with a degree in Psychology. She was behind the lens for most of Psycho Sheep, and filmed the Reedpoint Sheep Drive for the National Geographic Channel. Cyndi also co-wrote the screenplay, and originated the idea of making a film about killer sheep.
Colin McWilliams
a.k.a. Writer/Producer/Director
Mr. McWilliams is a native of Montana's Ruby Valley, attending two years of film school at Montana State University - Bozeman. Colin has worked as a cajun chef, a newspaper editor, a tech support guy, and was co-founder and Director of the Dog City Publishing Cooperative in Bozeman. Psycho Sheep of Butte is his directorial debut.
Eric Funk
a.k.a. Composer
Mr. Funk was born in Deer Lodge, Montana, in 1949. He studied composition with Tomas Svoboda, Sandor Veress, and with Krzysztof Penderecki. Since 1985, he has lived in Bozeman, Montana, where he was Music Director and Conductor of the Helena Symphony Orchestra and the Helena Symphonic Chorus (1994-2002). In 1994, he co-founded the Gallatin Chamber Orchestra in Bozeman. He also teaches composition at Montana State University, plays professionally with the jazz quartet Backburner, and hosts the Emmy-winning 11th & Grant with Eric Funk on Montana PBS.
